Fragment from the film "Raptor" by Dalziel + Scullion.

A video work made for flat screen monitors.

A bird of prey inhabits the interior of a contemporary office space.

Raptor looks at the uneasy relationship we have with the predatory species.

This iconic genre of birds seems to have kept their distance from the endeavors of mankind and as such have been viewed by us as both symbolic of freedom and power.

Fragment from the film "In the Open Sea" by Dalziel + Scullion.

The title for this video work comes from the opening image of the film, an aquarium exhibit of a shoal of herring swimming in circles around their confines.

The piece continues with an array of views that present aspects of the wilder habitats we inhabit and how we access and control these spaces.
